I am Akansha Sachdev, an artist based in central INDIA, Nagpur. While I don’t have any formal education in art, I’ve always been creating and expressing myself through drawing or paintings.
My artworks are inspired by the light, light in my personal experiences, light in my surroundings, and light in the people I talk to. I have developed a visual language of my own majorly with light, forms, shadows, and horizons. The forms are inherent part of my artwork. I find them endlessly fascinating. The form in my artworks represents the character of the story and all other elements create a story around these character/s. Over the years, this style has evolved in itself and I am constantly experimenting and flowing with it.
I have started exhibiting my artworks to the public for the past couple of years. I want you to look at these artworks and find your form, your character, and build a story of your own.
